I had to run a few errands today. Needed to go to the grocery store and get a few things. Also needed to visit Target and get items for my annual Christmas Eve party. My grandmother called me this morning and warned me about the temperature. Told me not to go out but you know I wasn't hearing that. Shoulda listened to Grandma. LOL. I went out and braved the weather and it was so cold that my eyes were watering. My fingers were numb after only a few seconds of walking to the car from the store. The temperature reading on the Jeep said 7 degrees but I would bet with the wind chill that is was below zero easily.
Incidentally, today is the first day of winter and also the shortest day of the year. This could be the coldest winter ever.
