Dig this.
He is attracted to me. I am attracted to him.
He is affectionate. More than most. And he cares.
I care.
We haven't had sex yet and we have talked about it. And we aren't going to.
We have the best conversations EVER!
All of this, and it doesn't = a relationship.
Waste of time?
Or is it okay in this instance to be all of the above and still be friends? Your take?

It will eventually lead to something. In truth a friendship is a relationship anyway, just minus the physical aspect. But you say "affectionate", that can have many meanings sooooo if it has become physical to some degree its basically a countdown to sex no matter what y'all may have agreed to.
Have a clear idea of what u want and make sure y'all both know what the others intentions are.
Don't lie to yourselves with the "we're just friends" stuff but you act like a couple.
You are absolutely right. It is critical that I "let go". 'Cause I don't want my emotions tied up like that. I can't afford for that to happen. Thanks for the reality check.
