My Ugly Arse Christmas Tree

LOL. Before you spit out your pork chops, my kids picked out the tree and decorations while we were at Target this evening. I told them this year, they had sole discretion to decorate the tree and the house for the holidays. To their credit, it didn't turn out as hideous as I thought it was going to. It may not be the best looking tree in the world, but my kids put forth a lot of effort this evening to decorate it so it looks like a million bucks to me. Don't let the title of this thread fool you; I love my little ones and the job they did. YUP!

I am still basking in the afterglow of Barack Obama's historic (and somewhat) landslide of a win last week. Here he is pictured on the current issue of US Weekly with his two adorable daughters Malia, age 10, and Sasha, age 7. Oh happy day! A Black man in the White House with a beautiful wife and their children. Joy is an understatement.

And to those reports that have been surfacing on the Internet that Malia and Sasha have been invited to appear on one of their favorite show's Disney's Hannah Montana, they are not entirely true. The Obama camp went on record today stating they haven't received an offer for the two girls to appear on the show. For more info on this warm and fuzzy story, click HERE!
